PDF to Lulu question

Do you have to go through and strip out hyperlinks manually, or do they disappear automatically when the Lulu print file is generated? I'm curious, because the formatting would otherwise look strange (e.g. some words appearing slightly gray and underlined).

Not to be flip about it, but I suspect that whatever's in the print file is what Lulu prints. That is, if the PDF has colored, underlined text in it, the paper version will have colored (or gray, if grayscale interiors are being printed), underlined text.

In general, I don't use colored or underlined text for hyperlinks, but this is a stylistic choice on my part and not anything Lulu does (or doesn't do).

You mentioned in another thread you were using OpenOffice. It's a shot in the dark here, but try modifying the Internet Link character style.

You do indeed need to strip the links or else they will print out underlined.
