The wizards in that game are the dominant force, but the system itself could be good inspiration for a Pendragon d20 conversion. I'd also say that a system based on the spell seed system of the Epic Level handbook, adjusted down for non-epic play, would be inetersting to look into.Still, I think careful choosing of spell lists would also help, if one wanted to retain the basic D&D magic system.
