This seems too easy, so Peladus taps Xir on the shoulder and whispers, "Come on, let's check the cells." He hands him his loaded crossbow and says to the others, "Keep watch, and be ready to come quickly if we call." He then removes the keys from his pocket and moves quietly to the first cell on the right. Looking in, he checks the occupants he can see, before calling softly to them. "Hey, are you from Haven? Quiet now! We've come to rescue you." He then tries the keys until he finds the one which unlocks the door. Stepping back, he retrieves his crossbow from Xir and holds it at the ready, in case there's an enemy or a spy in the cell. "Now keep it down! We're going to get you out of here. Who else is in the cells? Are there any guards, apart from the ones in the guardroom? Don't worry - we've already dealt with them." He'll work his way around the corridor and back, repeating the procedure and periodically enjoining the prisoners to keep quiet. He encourages them to stay close to the door of their cells, so as to keep a clear space in the centre of the corridor.
