but I really like that updated sheet! portrait up top (wish I could draw) and everything just seems to be better placed ...
not sure if I'd it use it for a real skill heavy PC though (my handwriting is crep [if e=a then you get the idea ]) ...
good call on taking out the spellbook section, I've seen people use a 5x8 notebook to keep track of spells (wizard/wujen) with good effect, besides you can actually throw in a brief description or stat block for your spell too ... I have a psychic-warrior PC, and trying to write anything but the power name was a pain (lots of little little writing in the margins).
The handwriting thing we have in common! But that shouldn't be a problem unless your character has a LOT of "Trained Only" skills (since all the Untrained ones are listed). I also made it a point to include more complete stats for Familiars/Animal Companions, since of my 3 PCs one is a wizard/rogue (cat familiar) and one is a ranger (wolf animal companion).
I think that's as complete a sheet can be for a generic character (oh, my fighter has too many feats; oh, my wizard has to many items; oh, my...) without being 6-pages long.
