A phalanx of spectral swordfighters appears. Their blades drawn, and they stand ready to strike.
A ghostly, incorporeal swordfighter appears in each square covered by the spell's area. A swordfighter can share a space with another creature or object. Each swordfighter threatens the squares adjacent to it and can make one attack of opportunity per round. The swordfighters do not hinder movement, block terrain, or block line of effect. They can flank an opponent with each other and with your allies.
Each swordfighter has hit points equal to twice your caster level and an Armor Class of 25. It makes saving throws or checks with a bonus equal to your caster level.
Material Component: A pewter swordfighter miniature figurine.
Anyone else see what is missing here? The other night, our Beguiler was going to cast this spell (they eventually opted not to). However, there are a couple critical things missing from this spell. Namely, if the ghostly, incorporeal swordfighter are going to make any attacks of opportunity, wouldn't they need some sort of Base Attack Bonus? How do we know what their BAB is or if they get any pluses to hit? The other critical piece of info missing here is damage... Should you somehow manage to figure out if a swordfighter hits, how do you know the damage they do?
I recommended that the BAB be equal to the caster's level, and that they are attacking with longswords. But who knows?
