[Photo] Pondering from a cluttered mind

Well after I finally showed people what I looked like after three (and for some people four years) I got a lot of comments from people on my looks, myself don't take offense when you mock me over my photo (I only take one every five years or so anyhow so it will be few times and far between them).

But the things that people said about me can easiliy be summirized into a few words.

• EVIL & GRIM About the same number that said this that said Terrorist
• Villanous At least 6 people that I know of so far has said I make a perfect villians portrait (cool thing BTW)
• Rasputin-esque Well I do not now enough about this fella to comment on it, but some people said it about my photo.

So, I felt like asking (and to keep away this from the photo thread) do I really look like all that?

I always pictured me as a nice and kind fella, but it seems that my photo does affect people the wrong way (which isn't a bad thing just a note).

Sp please explain how and why you picture me in a specific way due to my photo, but try to be serious (puns welcome but explain them ).

Many men have beards so it cannot be that alone, and from where I am beards are quite common aswell.

And my eyes, well it is a passport photo still you judge a mans life and what he has seen from what his eyes looks like.

And again, well I might have that villanous look just because I don't smile, ah well comment along fellas.

You have a small, black goatee ish kind of beard, and you're not smiling. That says Evil in the language of Cheap Fantasy Cliches. Sorry.

Also, the black top hat and curly mustache aren't helping. Lower the stick of dynamite next time someone snaps a picture.

Why do you look so evil in that photo (and you do)? Well, lets break it down:

- You have black hair. Not necessarily a bad thing, but black is a very severe color, and the black hair adds to that effect. (It looks blackish in that photo, but it may be dark brown, not totally sure).

- You're dressed in black. The black garb is cliche among villains, and it helps with the evil impression there too.

- The goatee. Facial hair adds an intimidating aspect to men, and that, combined with that its black (see above) adds to the "evil" effect.

- You have a very severe look on your face. Note the lack of a smile, the way the eyebrows seem to slope down and inward just so, hinting at mild anger or annoyance that has yet to fully be roused. You're looking right at the camera, suggesting that this antipathy is directed to whomever you're looking at.

- Posturing. You've got your head tilted to one side, but from what we can see of your shoulders youre body is directly facing the camera. The tilt of your head thus serves to convey an image that, since when speaking to people you face them directly, you're glaring at them with suspicion, or that you were looking away, just heard something you didnt like, and are turning your eyes to them without yet moving your head, a menacing gesture.

All in all, you do seem like a nice and kind fella from what we've read of you here (anyone who has a cat can't really be a bad person in my book), but you couldn't look more evil if you tried in that photo.

Your photo is just fine Liquide, people were just picking at you in a fun way me thinks cause you were brave enough to start a thread like that. Personally I hate getting my picture taken, so most of my photo's I don't smile either and look rather annoyed. Although sometimes I'm caught off guard by the people around me and my other pictures I'm cracking up and looking the fool!
