Hey, guys... Hope this is the right thread; if not, I'm sure it'll get moved in short order. I am looking for someone with a knowledge of PHP to help me convert a site that I've been using MS Access/ASP for into a PHP/MySQL system (I'm trying to migrate some stuff from one server to another). I would dearly love to integrate it into my PHPNuke stuff as a module, if possible; if not, I at least want to get a straight conversion of the ASP pages to PHP/MySQL done. It's not a really big project; about a dozen or so ASP pages that would need converting, but I need to do it sooner rather than later, and my PHP knowledge isn't strong enough yet. In fact, you really don't need to know much ASP either; you can probably look at the HTML output and see what I'm looking for. It is pages a simulated basketball league... I need to convert the "Standings" page, as well as the Team and Player pages, and an online lineup entry page. Here's the site: http://www.cooleys.org/ijbl/Standings.asp - "drill down" a couple of levels and you can see most of the pages. You'll probably be appalled by the formatting, but I did my best. ;) #1 goal: Switch this over to PHP. It's relatively simple; everything is "pre-formatted" except names and stats/ratings of players, which are simply "dropped into place" from the backend database. This absolutely must get accomplished. #2 goal: Integrate the lineup page into PHP-Nuke ( http://www.ijbl.net ) so that "owners" don't have to have a separate login to enter their lineups. If I can get this, great, but it's not a "Must" like goal #1. Now, you're probably asking yourself, "what is the reward I can expect?" Well, anyone who's willing to do it as a public service (i.e., for free) would be greatly appreciated; this is just a another hobby of mine and I don't make money off it (in fact, I spend money on the server LOL), but since I don't want to ask for something for nothing, I am offering free copies of all six of my PDFs, plus future PDFs I may publish at a later date; this is kind of an "exchange-of-services" type of deal; I'm asking for help working on one of my hobbies and trying to provide you with stuff for one of yours. :) If you can help, please either reply on this thread or email me at wignosy-at-gmail.com (NOT my usual e-mail) or both and let me know what the scope of the help you can provide is.
