And we all remember what a fiasco Star Trek V was. Do you realize that they eliminated the entire movie from canon? If that movie were canon then Voyager would have been home for supper. But I have to say that between Trek 5 and Trek X, I prefer Trek 5 because it still has the charm of the original cast, no characters die in stupid and contrived ways, and there were some neat little adventure scenes (not that it didn't have its share of stupid ones. Did anyone really want to see Uhura dancing around naked?)Now if they could just eliminate Trek X from canon and make a good movie instead. As far as I'm concerned the Next Gen cast had a misfire where it comes to the movies. Generations was focused too much on the captains, First Contact was actually good, Insurrection wasn't as good as First Contact, but at least it featured the ensemble cast and there were some fun parts, and then Trek X was a total, total, utter awful train wreck.</blockquote>
