I read in yesterday's USA Today that it will be coming out December 2nd. Worth picking up. Great pirate movie.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I was expecting something terrible, especially when I saw the beginning transfer from the storybook-esque painting to reality (and didn't realize that's what it was until the end of the movie). I was all set to sit through a bunch of terrible effects and corniness. Now I think I'm going to buy the DVD too. December 5th seems kind of early for it to come out... I hope it's not a rush job for Christmas.
