The arcane superstition is especially common in Nulakesh, one of the three provinces bordering Ohr Kaluun (the other two being Pyrine and Corvagura, the crown province of Riedra) which has a history of military might and hosts the majority of the human army of Riedra and part of their shifter legions. Shifters are treated as subhuman in Riedra.Ohr Kaluun is an archipelago sitting across the Koralandaluun sea. The Dream Merchants, smugglers who trade with the Khorvairan mainland have several ports there as they sail across the Barren sea to Sharn or Zarash'ak in the SHadow Marches.</blockquote>
