Plan 9 from Outer Space available for download

It's pretty much the best worst movie ever.

I don't get it. Make an excruatinly bad movie, and it winds up being somewhat popular because it's so bad. I've really been taking the wrong approach on my novel writing attempts.

Oh, I don't know, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is pretty close.

Hang up that Mistletoe
Soon you'll hear "Ho! Ho! Ho!"
On Christmas Day
You'll wake up and you'll say
Hoo-ray for Santy Claus!
They spell it S-A-N-T-A C-L-A-U-S
Hoo-ray for Santy Claus!

Now, why did they spell "Santa" with an 'A' on the end and then pronounce it with a 'Y' instead? Well, I guess I shouldn't expect much from the movie that gave the world Pia Zadora! :D

Manos was just bad, but Plan 9 was bad enough to be funny, ditto for SCCtM.

The Auld Grump, and Robot Monster...

Robot Monster--not quite as much fun as Plan 9, but still.... The Ro-Man, striving to understand the Hu-Man, certainly has its moments. It just needed to be about 5 minutes long, instead of an hour and a half.

If anyone hasn't seen Ed Wood by Tim Burton, run out and rent it. Hilarious background story about the making of Plan 9. My favorite Burton movie, and Johnny Depp rocks.
