I knew about this a few months back before the book came out, and it surprised me, but I can see reasoning for it, even if it's not the way I would have gone. (Heck, it opens up plot hooks if you consider the whole 'Factol Hashkar of the Fraternity of Order was a petitioner of Sigil' thing...).Actually on one of the WotC threads I made a joke about how long it would take for the people on the [booming voice]EPIC[/booming voice] boards there to start trying to figure out ways to kill The Lady since she now had a single stat, alignment. Well, I meant it as a joke, not seriously, but someone took me up on the offer and spawned a few pages of *politely chuckles and leaves it all unsaid*.I'm happy with the fluff included in the book. I'm personally getting a bit tired of the 'Lets make every planar race have a subrace that's +0/+1LA'. If I want to play a bladeling I'll play a bladeling, not a spiker. *shrug*The factions got love in the book, this makes me smile. (as much as I've been picking on where the locations of the 4 Doomguard citadels got placed since the negative touched quasielemental planes got removed for no reason. Only 1 of them is now on the same element, even if the surroundings are described as matching the older environs)</blockquote>
