Pathfinder 1E Planescape in Pathfinder

Scraht

First Post
I've recently started running a Planescape campaign and I have a few questions of the fine DM community here. One is rather broad and the others a bit more precise.

I suppose a little background information first, we are using the Pathfinder rule set, post faction wars Sigil, its currently myself and three players, a cambion, an elf and a half-dragon. (I normally have a 'no templates' rule but I figured hey, its planescape) I hope to be grabbing a fourth soon. I've ran a lot of different games over the years, and two of my players are very well seasoned with one being kind of new.

My first question is in what ways, other then the obvious, is running planescape different then D&D/Pathfinder set primarily on the material plane? And has anyone ever ran into any unforeseen hiccups running Planescape in Pathfinder? Any tidbits of information that other planescape DM's have found would be very helpful.

Second, one of my players came to me saying that he would like to set up some sort of inter planar caravan as a side venture.

You see they recently found themselves stranded on a world on the prime near a small town, they managed to work there way to the plane of air in hopes of wriggling there way back to Sigil, but this player already has plans of going back to this town, finding out what it could be they need and getting it to them for a net profit.

I suppose my question is, what would be appropriate obstacles for this player, rather then just simply saying "No it wont work" or "Okay, it works, have your character devote X amount of time and resources and I'll tell you how much money you make".

Thanks in advance!
