A DM in our group runs a second game for a group of teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18. He is having a riot running this game and from time to time he sends us emails about the kids. When describing them, he refers to them by archetypes, or perhaps stereotypes, depending on your point of view. Here are some quotes as examples:
"The I am too good for you all" player: He is the teenage
equivalent of Stewie on Family Guy. Every character he plays MUST turn
evil.
"The Overacheiver" - Winner of the "most emails about her character per day" award. He claims he gets an average of 7 just asking about the particulars of sneak attack or hide or bardic knowledge.
"But my character might take damage" player - His character has the most hit point but he effectivly plays the most cowardly Legolas D&D has ever seen.
"I only hang out with you guys until something better comes along" player - enough said.
So, I thought this was sort of humorous and wondered what type of players you have in your groups.
