Player Archetypes (Stereotypes?)

A DM in our group runs a second game for a group of teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18. He is having a riot running this game and from time to time he sends us emails about the kids. When describing them, he refers to them by archetypes, or perhaps stereotypes, depending on your point of view. Here are some quotes as examples:

"The I am too good for you all" player: He is the teenage
equivalent of Stewie on Family Guy. Every character he plays MUST turn
evil.

"The Overacheiver" - Winner of the "most emails about her character per day" award. He claims he gets an average of 7 just asking about the particulars of sneak attack or hide or bardic knowledge.

"But my character might take damage" player - His character has the most hit point but he effectivly plays the most cowardly Legolas D&D has ever seen.

"I only hang out with you guys until something better comes along" player - enough said.

So, I thought this was sort of humorous and wondered what type of players you have in your groups.

Age doesn't necessarily have anything to do with it. :)

I have a friend I play with (he's 31 or 32 years old) who is most certainly the "But my character might take damage" type.

We also have gamed with the not so humorous "there's not enough role-playing" type who complains after every session (even those days with no combat whatsoever) that there wasn't enough story and/or role-playing opportunities.

Then there's the "I'm bored so let's be reckless type" that can be amusing at times, especially when they start jumping through planar gates and end up in the negative energy plane....

Of course, I've also gamed with the "I don't have to outrun the monster, I just have to outrun the slowest PC" type who is waiting around for the rest of the party to die so that he can take their stuff. :)

"Can we keep it?" the girl who is determined to make ever animal or cute cuddly monster her personal pet

"I talk to it" the player that is determined to make ever single encounter an eloberate role playing encounter even when the rest of the party has blades drawn and are ready for combat
