The Bards do get wondrous item instruments as implements too.There are multiple kinds of songblades, and they all have a power.Most of them just let you take one of the class's at-will powers and gain it as an encounter power. I predict Arcane Prodigy (Sorcerer) and Berserker's Fury to be very popular multiclasses, since they both give bonuses to damage. Initiate of the Old Faith (Druid) gives you wild shape and an encounter power to go with it. Spirit Talker (Shaman) gives you a spirit companion, and some powers to go with it.The biggest difference I noticed that changed was Rage Strike so that it's clarified that it can't be used until 5th level (and also explains what it's used for in the class description). They don't have their own Striker bonus thingy, so it's all built-in still.
