Here ya go........With your stats, I'd arrange them:16 Str16 Dex15 Con13 Wis14 Int12 ChrThe reason why I put a 14 in Int and a 13 in Wis is because skill points aren't retroactive, and Rangers need lots of these. At level 4 increase Constitution, and at level 8 increase Wisdom. (A 14 Wisdom is the highest you'll really need. If you want to max out spellcasting, play a Druid.)With a Wild Elf, (which is a really good choice), you'd get an 18 Dex and a 12 Int. Throw in a Mithral Chain Shirt and you are set.And if you are set on having a shield, then just use a one handed weapon, armor spikes, and a shield. Don't even bother with shield expert. You get TWF and the shield AC.
