The layout of the map is really fine. But the scale for the first room (which was 1 sq=10 ft in the original) is too small to really capitalize on the mobility of the kobolds for my group. http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/burningplague_map.jpg All of the chambers are actually enormous in the original. The mess hall is 60x40!!! I prefer the layout of your map (as I want to hand feed encounters for a delve/demo) but I think the corridors would benefit from being 10 feet wide. The kitchen could use a little more room, as it would make it harder for the defenders to lock down the kobolds. The ledge chamber works as is in my opinion, as a size increase will keep the melees out of the fighting that much longer. Granted, maybe it would be cool to see the ranged hiding while the melees dash to each total cover, meanwhile the boulder is coming... heh. Skeleton room is fine, the closer quarters are nice for showing the nasty OAs they get, but I guess another 5ft ring wouldn't hurt it. The hobgoblin room felt too small, but it worked to the hobgoblin's advantage, as their soldier's could easily set up a line and defend it.
