Malladin's Gate Press are looking for playtesters for or Etherscope game. More details can be found here. We've got the campaign primer close to comlpetion and want to make sure we've got it 100% right. As a result we're looking for playtesters in three stages: First stage is charater. For this stage the playtesters will be given a copy of the character and traits chapters, and simply create characters of all levels, trying their best to 'break' the system as best they can and trying to create legitimate but obscure character concepts. We also want people involved at this stage to let us know their thoughts on how their character's feel at the different levels and how whether the system allows them to create characters they'd like to play. This is stage is open to anyone, and any characters we think are particularly good and really capture the style of the game will have the oportunity to become the iconic characters of game (if you don't object). The second stage is the campaign primer. This will involve the playtesters gouing through the whole campaign primer and letting us know what they think. This will hopefully involve playing it, but first impressions count just as much and we want to know what systems or ideas look unbalanced or strange on first reading, and then whether playing with those systems changes or compounds your opinion. For those without existing playtest credits, we'd like to see some examples of reviews that you've written in the past for participants in this stage, so that we can match the product to our intended market. The third stage will take place after the Primer is finished. This will involve playtesting a specific example (and therefore short) adventure that will be part of either the first supplement (a detailed setting) or a main book, should the product go to print. People with existing playtest credits prefered for this stage Please email submissions@malladinsgate.com if you wish to be involved. let us know which stages you wish to be involved with and, where approriate, your history of playtesting or links to reviews you have written. Thanks for those who take part. Ben, Malladin's Gate Press www.malladinsgate.com
