Quick disclaimer: Morrus didn't put me up to this, neither did anyone affiliated with the site. It may even be that this post is taken down because it probably is against forum rules. But I've been a bit discouraged by the slow progress of subscriptions in the banner at the top of the page. I was just bearing through weeks of fund-raising on NPR and figured why not try to help EN World out a bit with the online equivalent? Consider this: EN World isn't exactly a cash-cow (I'm guessing). What is clear is that it is a labor of love, and Morrus and others put their blood, sweat and tears in so that we all can benefit from it. If you're reading this then you, like myself, probably spend a fair amount of time here and derive at least some pleasure from the site. $3 a month, the cost of Copper subscription, is nothing. It is an iced coffee, a slice of pizza or a couple giant-sized candy bars. It is less than the cost of a beer at a bar and about 5% of your monthly internet bill. It is 10% of the cost of one of the core 5E books on Amazon. I figure that, for $3 a month (or $2.50 if you get a four-month package), it is worth supporting this site. I subscribed for awhile a few years ago and then stopped because I found myself not participating that much. Since my participation has gone up over the last year, I decided to sign up again. Who knows, maybe some day I'll cancel my subscription - but for now I figure, why not? Come on folks, let's support this site! What's a few extra bucks a month? p.s. Now if only Morrus would switch it so that American English spellings like "labor" weren't considered spelling mistakes. :p
