Beholders are supper easy to paint. All you need is white, black and purple, red. Base it with a dark purple (black purple mix), give it a black wash, then dry brush with purple. Use white for the eyes and teeth, and put black dots in the yes, red for the tongue. You can certainty go more complex but this will certaitly look better than any pre-painted mini. My first painted mini is a Spectator. After the big reveal I'll give the mini to the painter in our group, along with the Beholder's other six eye stalks. Maybe he can do something decent with it
