PlotStorming.com - a creative community geared to helping writers and gamers improve their writing - concluded its September Contest (Astounding Adventure!) last week. For the contest PlotStormers had to develop a short story using a locale developed by the Campaign Builders' Guild and a graphic prompt created by the Cartographers' Guild. All the entries are worth the time.
Besides the contest pieces, there is plenty of new fiction (horror, poetry, and humor, just to name three) in the Story Hour, plus the past week's Daily Writing Prompts to read.
