The project isn't dead. Just very slow.

Hmm, maybe. I know from my perspective, which is really all I have to go on, things have been ok. About the same for us at RPGO.

I hear rumblings that things are worse for some folks, but when we released Modern20, we had one of our best months in years, surrounded by months that were so-so, but not totally out of the norm for this time of year.

Now, we've never been even primarily a fantasy house, and our fantasy has never been of the "if you play 3.5 plug this right in" variety.

While that might make our baseline sales a little lower, it has also served to insulate us from any big drops due to the 3e to 3.5 changeover.

And it LOOKS like, so far, it's serving the same purpose with the 4e launch, but it's way too early to tell.

So far though, things look all right.

I didn't exactly mean worse. Just . . . different. I suspect a lot of that has to do with the fact 4e is coming.
