Podcasts that mention RPGs

Anyone else fond of Podcasts? My current favorite is Geekdrome.

They debate movies, video games, comic books, music, and even some RPG stuff, all with a geek theme. In fact, their themesong mentions rolling a d20.

If you have itunes, you can download the podcasts for free by going to the music store and searching for geekdrome.

Lyrics to their theme song (don't be put off by it, as it is meant to be a joke and the guys who run it are actually quite hip as far as the brotherhood of geekiness is concerned):

Fantasy now runs your life.
Star wars has become your vice.
And your best friend's still have their virginities.
The friday nights are empty but the comic books are plenty,
Don't forget to tivo stargate tonight.
What else do you have to do tonight?
It's not like you've got a date.
Men with with no girlfriends will take you there.
So roll the twenty sided dice and feel real.
Heyeaaaaa!

Does anyone know of any other podcasts that cover RPGs?

Hi,

I've been listening to Dragon's Landing for about six months now -- they're up to episode 44, I think. It can go on a bit too long and there are quite a few in-jokes, but on the whole it's an excellent weekly podcast, focusing mostly on D&D/d20 fantasy roleplaying.

Cheers

Good picks all of those, with a few comments. I was an early listener to Gamer: The Podcasting, but found that it dwelt too long in the realm of LARPing. I think it's not-so useful because of that, and I no longer listen to it.

Dragons Landing has some really good nuggets, but the earlier poster was right about the in-jokes and rambling. I commented on this via voicemail a couple of 'casts ago, and they kinda dismissed it. I'm about ready to wrap a frrickin' Chupacabra around their necks when I see 'em at GenCon. It was kinda funny the first 28 times they mentioned it. . . .

I gave Dragon's Landing a try and liked it.

The Geekdrome guys are more skilled at it, but the DL is more focused on RPG stuff.

Trancelab, which is a minimal techno weekly podcast is sponsored by OGC (Open Gaming Convention). Does that count?

Check it out if you like groovin' techno goodness.

Cool. Yes, that counts.

Actually, podcasts of music specifically tailored to RPG playing would be useful.
