So there I was, blithely writing away on my current fiction project, when I was given a book called Poetry 180, which is “a turning back to poetry.”
And I did.
I’m a prose guy. Poetry has never been the truest scabbard for this old sword of mine. Yet I’ve found that, somehow, it makes my prose better. Sharpens the steel.
And so, fool that I am, I’m posting poems on my new poetry blog, a new one every other day or so. Please stop by, and make a comment or two, and secretly roll your eyes.
