Message: <blockquote data-quote="RigaMortus2" data-source="post: 3191646" data-attributes="member: 11586">Ack, I should have voted 32+.  Oh well...We use a combination of point buy and random rolling...  33+1d6So a character can start anywhere from 34 to 39 points.  Why so high you might ask?  We do this mainly to help out the classes that are MAD.  Of course, the classes that aren't so MAD get to take advantage of this as well.I should also note we play max HPs every level.  We don't like that a bad roll can make your Wizard end up w/ more HPs than your Barbarian.  So far it works out fine, it's not over powering, characters DO last longer (obviously) but they also die as well.  We need this, as our DM often throws things that at us that outclass our group.  For example, at the end of our last session, the DM left us with a cliffhanger...  We have a CR 37 dragon (with lower level dragons) headed for our group and we are all only around lvls 6 to 8, hehe.</blockquote>
