Creatures and people are given a level or HD to determine their experience or difficulty level.&nbsp; A DM can alter the difficult of an encounter easy enough to make it challenging for the party.&nbsp; The entries have a few details, an interesting fact or two, but the rest is left to the DM to develop.&nbsp; And here is where this product stand above the rest I have recently read.&nbsp; Even with a few sentences there is a connection between these places.&nbsp; These places did not just pop up because the writers wanted to fill in a blank space.&nbsp; There is reason and history backing each place.&nbsp; This is what makes these livable lands for characters.&nbsp; It’s not just about dungeon crawling or wiping out hordes of orcs (which there is plenty of both), but political intrigue, battle between gods and the threat of even a greater enemy.&nbsp; If you are looking for a product to jump-start any fantasy campaign this is the one.&nbsp; Or if you need something to spice up a current campaign Points of Light gives you several options to choose from.&nbsp; These 48 pages feels like it gives you 200 pages of content.</p></blockquote><p></p>
