Thanks for the kind words. The driving purpose of the book was to have four lands to be easily dropped and modified for a referee's campaign. To this end I tried pick situations that are common to most fantasy rpg campaign with a bias toward the Points of Light theme. I did come up with a light background so there is value for a buyer to read all four lands. The chronologically Borderlands comes first, Wildlands is the aftermath decades later, and Southlands is centuries later. Acheron is a timeless plane, Home of Sarrath. Yes Acheron was written differently than the other three lands. First it is the only land that is directly taken from my 20 year campaign. Having said that Dwayne is actually the one responsible for writing most of it as he has a better memory than I. He is also responsible for most of Wildlands while I did most of Borderlands and Southland. Second we struggled with presenting a planar setting with having light stats. Even though it was actually played in my campaign when Dwayne and I listed everything that was in my original version it wasn't enough for a commercial product so we had to flesh it out. Artos, the Boglings, the Swamp itself, the Sons of Sarrath, the Dragon Turtles are all elements that were created in actual play. I also wanted a little source material in there to allow referee to use Sarrath as a player god. Of the many types of evil that can be depicted in a RPG the one that Sarrath's embodies is perhaps the most player/party friendly. Sarrath can be substituted by just about any LE God of Tyranny or Order. There will be a 2nd Points of Light, I feel the planer setting in that one is much stronger than Acheron.
