Hey there, Enworld! Poison Ivy Press is a brand new third party publisher dedicated to bringing you top-of-the-line content for Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition. Over the next few months, we’re going to be launching a few of our product lines and you’ll be able to get to know us at Poison Ivy and what we’re about. We’re out to set ourselves apart from other publishers, and put out material you're going to want for your campaigns. Se let's talk a bit about what we want to accomplish... With a new edition comes a new attitude to design. The creative power is back in the hands of the players, and with a new demographic comes new faces to publishing, but new faces in the hobby. Now that it's touted as an easier task, many players are taking up the mantle of Dungeon Master, and learning how great it can be to take on the extra work and creativity to provide an incredibly experience at the table. With that, we see an opportunity to provide a new level of product. At Poison Ivy Press, we're aiming to give you the kind of supplement that you can use to enhance your game easily and effectively. We realize that a book of crunchy rules, stat blocks, and new paragon paths alone isn’t just going to cut it. We want to publish the kind of material that gives you inspiration both as a player and a DM, and supplements your game in a useful way. So when we design a playable race, we won’t give you rules mechanics, a few feats, and set you on your way. We’ll give you a product so that you have both a new game element that runs well, but also has interesting story ideas, advancement options, an ecology, advice on role playing, and plenty of character inspiration. But it doesn’t stop there. We’ll give you content designed to introduce that race more fully in your campaign, with monster entries, adventure hooks, and multiple fleshed-out combat encounters so that you can throw the new content into your game and really have something to work with. We also want to provide for the community in the best way we can. While most of our products will be available for purchase as PDFs, we also plan to release addition supplements to our product lines available for free download. If there’s a demand, we’ll meet it. You can find more information at our website, www.poisonivypress.com Thanks so much for reading, and we hope that you check in at our website occasionally to see what's new.
