So, I've been making poisons lately, and using Poisoncraft from Blue Devil Games. First thing, I erratad the text in the third paragraph of page 8 so the text produces the same results as the table on that page (ie: DC = 1/2 of max die result, not 1/2 of average die result). But I have some other questions for anyone else using this system - how would you rule the following damage types: --- Conditional Effects - Entangled (produces an effect similar to entanglement, but not actually physically entangling the character) What would make the DC for this? --- Special Damage Type - Power Tap A new type of damage is introduced here, power tap. If the save against the power tap damage is failed, the victim suffers a loss of the listed number of power points every round for a number of rounds equal to the amount the saving throw was failed. For example, if Tatsu, the praesentia was injured by a weapon bearing cascade venom (below) and rolled an 8 on his initial damage Fort save (vs a DC of 15), he would suffer 1d4 damage to his power points each round for 7 rounds. Power tap damage has no effect on non-psionic targets normally, although in campaigns where absolutely no distinction is made between magic and psionics (or for games searching for an anti-magic toxin), every 2 power points of damage results in the loss of a single spell level of spell slots, chosen by the victim. Any guesses for craft DC modifier?
