Pole Vault

First off, are there any rules somewhere in the game that covers pole vaulting?

Second: Which skill do you think should cover a pole vault attempt? Jump? Tumbling?

I guess it depends on whether you think pole vaulting is more STR based or DEX based. I'm leaning towards the former, so I think it should be based on Jump.

Well, personally I would treat it as a long jump myself.

In the real world, strength and jumping distance are not nearly as important as moving fast and using the pole correctly. If forced to choose, I would make it a Tumble check, and add a bonus for high movement speed.

IMC to keep things simple, I would let the player choose Jump or Tumble, whichever had a bigger bonus.
