Message: <blockquote data-quote="The_Universe" data-source="post: 522190" data-attributes="member: 8944">Don't worry, Mr. Mona!This is almost enough to inspire a minor rant, on my part...but first, my thanks for the two of you for finding me a place where I could order it.  File sharing is cool, and all...and there's a certain point where you just CAN'T feel right doing it.  I know that I, for one, will happily download something instead of buying it if it's not a quality product (in my case, mostly songs), or something that I just want to listen to to get it out of my head.  But, if it's a favorite band or something, isn't there a tiny pang of guilt knowing that you're not helping with their success?  The same holds true for D20 publishers, I think.  If we want quality publishing to continue, or to increase, the only real survey we have is the dollar (or the pound, or the Euro, I guess).  Publishers live and die on whether or not you'll PAY for something that they have paid someone to make...when we don't, publishers die, and all our wonderful RPGing dies with them.  Is that to say that I want us to buy a copy of every product that comes out?  NO!  But buy the stuff you like, and I bet our publishers will get the hint that you want more of it.  Hence, I'll be buying a copy of the pulp heroes Polyhedron...it's a way of saying "thanks" and "please sir, may I have another" all in the same breath.</blockquote>
