With two villains, and the murmur of Venom being one (Which obviously he's not, but just if), I'd like to think they'd stick Venom's little brat, Carnage in as a chirpy side to the deal. That way you have your brooding "Got to save the innocents!" tongue lasher who just can't help but aid Spidey even though he hates him - and - your regular idiotic kill you as soon as look at you psychotic loon. (I joke.) But seriously. I can't stand the way these new movies are re-hashing old stories. I am sick of "traditional heroes and villains" making their way back out of the "boring hamper" time and time again. So what if it's a legacy?! Green Goblin sucks backside in my opinion! Or at least seeing him being brought out time and again. Superman vs. Lex Luther..... AGAIN?! How about some new blood? How about exciting us with some creativity here folks? There's a gazillion comic books and story-lines to reference from and they can't think of anything more original than the Green Goblin and Doc Oc? Sheesh. There's a reason I fell asleep through the first Spiderman film and saw the second one only once - "they were tired ideas". I'm hoping that Sandman and his chum (Whoever that might be - though I hope to hell it's not "the return of the Green Goblin - again".) provide a little fizzle to the comic-book-hero movie genre, that, in my opinion is sorely needed. (And no, Blade and Punisher are hardly classed as heroes. They weren't even portrayed correctly.) I'm also thinking about starting a petition for everyone to boycott the next Superman movie on the grounds that there "had" to be a Superman villain out there more interesting than the "O so terrible" Lex Luther. Who's with me? [Post Script: Rant over, I'm going to bed.]
