I'm great at SOLVING them, but making them is hard for me.The recent thread about critiquing someones riddle, gave me the idea to get others to post their riddles and the answers so that DM's like me can utilize them in their games.I'll start with a really lame one that I once used as a deal with a Crossroads Guardian who the PC had peeved off (really long story and I altered the way the Guardian and crossroad worked) and had said that the only way to escape the demi-plane where the fey creature dwelled was to either complete a quest or solve a riddle.The riddle was a spoken one as writing it down gives away the answer.Essentially it's an altered version of a joke.    Q: What's yellow and black and read all over? A: A scroll. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />Btw, although one player knew the answer, the player in question couldn't figure it out for HOURS. The other players rescued him by choosing to join him in the demi-plane and share his punishment, and therefore share the task of solving the riddle.</blockquote>
