Sailing off the edge of the world? A Disney film that hangs a kid in the opening scene?It was too much. My disbelief couldn't recover from what I was seeing. Which is okay if it's a pure fantasy film  - but this wasn't what this was supposed to be. That's not the idea of the original genre. It was supposed to be taking place on Earth in the first film - and this one  - took place somewhere else entirely.I guess from my point of view, the more over the top the fantastical became, the less I was able to buy into the movie.If they do make a fourth film focusing on Jack and Barbosa and the search for the Fountain of Youth - as long as its not as far over the top - I think I would prefer that return to the less fantastic.</blockquote>
