[QUOTE="Io- lord of all, post: 9826625, member: 7055382"] Well, the power is not simply a lifespan issue, it is much more, well, it’s just insane. As far as I have researched, when someone try’s something like this, such as Karsus, try this, they usually go completely insane and blow themselves up. So it is not that no one else has though if this, it is that some have, but they failed so SPECTACULARLY that no one else is CRAZY enough to do this. My dragon is simply a product of circumstance, coincidence, and, well, luck. As for proof of concept for, well, NOT following in the footsteps of those who have failed, I feel that a dragon is uniquely suited for this. 1 dragon are naturally and innately connected to primordial and divine power, as they were created by a god and are converted to primordial(elemental power). 2 this dragon is a hybrid between a red and silver dragon (more on them later), and the great wyrm stage for silver/red dragons is each a different expression of this. A red great wyrm is an expression of PURE, RAW elemental power, while a silver is a much more ORDERED, CONTROLED expression of power. Such as the gods and primordials. For reference, Talos is a god of the elements. Now as for psionics, which is usually the domain of gem dragons, there is precedent for this, in a red dragon psionic form Eberon, and the intimidation ability dragons can develop, but back to the power. So, the million dollar question, how does my dragon not blow himself up, how does he contain this power, and how does he not follow the path of all others who have failed. Well, it’s really quite simple, he takes it slow. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, and yes, it does seem a bit, well, basic, but I have a reason for that. Imagine, a Demi - plane, one formed as close as possible to sigil without intruding upon the domain of the lady of pain, a Demi plane that is the center of a MULTIVERSE spanning ritual. Tho Demi plane is layered in thousands of time bubbles that accelerate time thousands of times greater than outside them. Minutes to you and me, centuries inside the plane. For Io, the god dragons, has had something of a veil over his nature, as sages debate, whether he was a God or a primordial. But I digress, as MY dragon will become something in - between these two power houses of creation. And after 5 years outside the bubble, untold eons within it, this dragon ‘hatch’s’ in a thunderous burst of power, announcing his rebirth to the world. Thoughts? PS - my dragon loves LIFE, and one of his favorite parts of life IS magic, but he does not get impatient or arrogant with other races, his mother(silver) taught him better than that.
