So, maybe it would have been better for DS9 rates if they had done they same as on Roseanne? :) For the Bragga Bashing - Somehow I do not think it is his fault alone. Maybe it is also because Startrek is getting older, and most stories have already been told. The premise of Voyager sounded new, but it basically was only changing the flight direction of the ship - instead of flying from Earth to unknown zone, they flew from the unknown zone to Earth. Deep Space Nine was "newer" (but unfortunately, the same idea was used by Babylon 5, so many stories are already told there) in concept, because it was a station, and the unknown had to come to them (which is, from a point of relativity, still nothing new) and they had to face the consequences of their actions for a longer time (Which was really new to Startrek). The Enterprise, is once again, flying to discover the unknown, only the time changed. But, at least Voyager could have been better, if they used the new parts in a more interesting way - a ship basically alone from help, no home base to reach. They mostly forgot the fact that the ship had 2 crews with sometimes opposing views on life. But what happened? The crew merged perfectly (at least not worse than most crews before), and the Voyager single handedly defeated the Borg, without having the full starfleet resources at hand. (Which weren`t enough during TNG and DS9, and even if it was the Enterprise who defeated the Borg Cube more or less alone, it where very special circumstances and the ship was in a repair dock for several days) When the ship was severely crippled (there were some episodes), the repairs were completed at the beginning of the next episode. The oppertunities for "Enterprise" seem, as far as I can see it thanks to spoilers (Enterprise just started in Germany, so I have to rely on sources like this Board), are better used - they seem to explore the post development, even if they use some tricks like the temporal cold war to allow continuity changes... Even if they don`t do it always, they do it. Mustrum Ridcully
