[QUOTE="Mark, post: 850487, member: 5"] I don't see it. I do see that ST has always utilized ideas from other places and sometimes, now, they take an idea they have used before and put a new spin on it. It's just a television show. There's really nothing wrong with doing things that way. I doubt there is a longtime fan who has been watching as long as I since I watched the originals as a child. I'm still impressed more often than not and enjoying the show. I address this below... I know the feeling. I experience it each time I read your responses to an ST topic on these boards. Yeah. I know. Ignore you if I don't like it, and believe me I've strongly considered it, but somehow I keep thinking you might bring something new to the table. This tact of suggesting that since you, and some others, do not like the show it should be ended until you feel it can entertain you is new...but not universal. You really need to speak in the first person. I think that's probably the most anoying things about your opinion...the inability to speak only for yourself and leave others to do the same. If you need a break, take one, but your right to swing your fist ends just before my nose and I'd rather not be forced to take a break just because you need one. Why not give everyone a break, avoid the show, and then the people who like it can continue to enjoy watching and discussing it, and you will no longer feel this odd betrayal that seems to have spoiled ST for you.
