I've tried to design this under my 'Power Armor as a vehicle' rule. It's geared more towards pilots, but I think fighters can be rather effective with this... HD: d8 Skill points: 4+ Int bonus Prereqs: Feats: Power Armor Proficiency, Technical Proficiency Skills: Pilot: 8 ranks BAB: Best Saves: Fort & Ref: Good, Will: Poor Special: Gained at levels 1,3,5,7, & 9: Power Armor Feat: The PAS may take any feat that is considered a bonus feat for a fighter. However, these feat may only be used while in power armor. They may only be considered as meeting the prerequistes for other PAS power armor feats. Gained at level 2,4,6,8, & 10: Max Dex Bonus Increase: A PAS learns to make better use of their natural agility in power armor. This ability increases the Max Dex bonus allowed while wearing power armor by +1 for every even class level. NOTE: This ability does not grant a Dex bonus! It only allows the pilot to use the bonuses they have! Gained at levels 4 and 8: Pilot's Finesse: A PAS has learned how to let the armor work for them. When the PAS gains this ability, they may choose any one skill that is hampered by the armor's skill check penalty (Hide, Climb, etc). When attempting this action, the PAS may use their Pilot skill instead of the standard skill roll. The skill check penalty from the armor still applies. Gained at level 6: Weapon's Lock: A PAS has learned to make better use of the sensors built into power armor. If the power armor has a sensor suite, a PAS may attempt a 'lock' as a move equivalent action. This is a Use Device check against the targets Hide skill (DC of 15 if the target is not actively hiding). This gives a +1 bonus to hit siad target. For every 5 that the PAS beat the opposed roll by (or every 5 rolled over the DC 15), the PAS gains an additional +1 to hit. If the power armor already possesses weapons lock sensors (usually a +5 equip bonus), then the PAS may attempt a lock as a free action once per round. Yep, this PrC can even use the Weapon Specialization Feat chains (But only while in Power Armor) My attempt at trying to create Power armor pilots who specialize in a variety of environments. Imagine a zero-G specialist taking the Pilot's Finesse ability for Jump and Freefall. Or better yet, a PAS wearing a Jangala Hardsuit specializing in movement (Climb/Jump) or stealth (Hide/Move Silently) [For those who don't know, jangala hardsuits are designed for working in jungle or heavy canopy terrain. They gain a +4 equip bonus to hide and a +8 to climb] I still need an fitting 10th level ability. Any suggestions?
