Power balance

First Post
Im playing a champaign to where as each class can go up to 30th level(most people in the game setting can barley make it to 7th level) and my character is more powerful then most gods([58th level with hundreds of personal spells and a few classes in fighter, gods usually 50th level]besides the saliant divine abilities) along with 4 others on the journey(levels are 30-44), well the gods of magic(GM) are going to change the spell rules, well one more like it, no more spells per day its recharge. I told the GM that it would make my character too powerful and he brushed it off(me and my friends, other players, are offered to repleace some of the current gods because they relequished their godhood or something of the sorts not to sure at the moment). just wondering if the GM is mad or im just over-exaggerating, please reply

PS: would post character but my fingers would snap

If you're playing a 58th-level character, I can't imagine balance is even on the radar, let alone something you had and are in danger of losing.

Seriously. If that's your game, I'd just forget worrying about balance altogether and just focus on the other parts of the game that make it fun.

Theres a power balance. evil gods out number good gods(by ten times) and gods can interact with mortals. demons rule the land and the supreme gods half-dragon(black) child and his offspring are slowly taking over the throne and its suppose to be the jobs of hte party im in to stop him and become the future ruling gods. oh yeah the godchild is 60th level and one hell of a challange and me and my friends need ideas to stop him(he rules most the planes and half the prime plane)

I can give the classes and some background of everything if anyone wants them

Really, if the DM is making your foes balanced to your power level, then I don't see how it's a problem. Sure, you're gods among men. But hey, you're fighting gods while you're at it! It's just a difference in power scale compared to normal settings, not necessarily a problem in game balance.

In essence, you have two questions that you need to ask when you're considering game balance/power
1) Is playing like this fun for you?
2) Is playing like this fun for the other players?

If both answers are yes, then I don't see any problem at all.

Can i have someones advise, how am i suppose to kill a half-blackdragon drow (godchild) with the ability to create 2d10 black dragons out of nowhere at any age and size?

Bryin, there's no way anyone here can help you. You're way past the limits of the game, out in the stratosphere somewhere. If you're 58th level, it doesn't matter how spells work, you're going to be insanely powerful. Just take it and run. If your character is too powerful, the DM will change it back.
