I'm looking at the Power Dive feat from the Draconomicon, and I was hoping someone here might help me understand it a bit better.
Specifically, I'm confused about how this works with flying creatures that are large enough to be landing on multiple creatures. The feat repeatedly refers to the character being landed on in the third person singular, but what happens if a huge dragon tries to power dive an individual in the center of a group?
Overrun also refers to a singular opponent and says that only one attempt may be made each round. To illustrate my problem, use the following map:
Each diamond is a medium sized humanoid, and the "o" in the center is their leader. Say a large bird of some kind (who takes up a 10' space) wants to power dive on the leader. In order to "land" on the leader, they would also have to land in 3 of the spaces around him. Would the overrun attempt affect the characters in those squares as well? If not, how would one hadle the confusion of multiple characters in the same square in this example? Thanks for the help.
