(PR MEG) New art samples

Mystic Eye

First Post
You can find some new art samples of Librum Equitis volume one, the upcoming printed version. These samples are from Eric Lofgren, Scott Purdy, and Marcio Fiorito.

There is also a sample pic for The Witch of Loch-Durnan.

Check them out when you have time!

I don't want to sound like an ass or anything, but when Mystic Eye first came out, I was worried that the quality of the art would prevent them from becoming a core player. With the art samples we have here, I think I can safely put those worries aside.

Looks like some great stuff. Always remember, Quality, not Quantity! ;-)

As one of the artists involved in the book (and the samples!), I'll take your compliments myself, Joe!

Aside from my own artwork, the little I've seen so far from Eric Lofgren and Scott Purdy, I can say that this is one of the best illustrated book from Mystic Eye.

Well, Librum Equitis is actually Ambient's but published by Mystic Eye.

Once again, thanks for the compliments.

Best,
Marcio Fiorito

Thanks for the uhm...compliment! Hehe. All I can say is we have turned "everything" up 10 notches.

The artwork we have for Librum Equitis 1 is great.
The Worldbook turned out very nice, I think you will like it.
The art for Blight Magic is all done by Andy Hopp. His style fit that book to a T!
Lastly, the Witch of Loch-Durnan is using many of the same artists that have worked on these other recent books.

Of course, we still have our rather twisted and flavorful content.

All that and we have an awesome new layout artist, Tammy, who started with the Worldbook for us. I believe you will be very pleased indeed.

Hey! Goddamn!
I got a mention! Cool
I think thats the first ive had on ENWorld. Cheers Doug for letting me inside the doors of MEG. And thanks Marcio..... hhmmmm now theres a real artist...... *POWER WORD KILL*....damn he's got magical protection..

WHAT? Trying to cast spells on me, Scott??????

Okay, now you got it! I'll start a powerful magic ritual to get you rid of those FANTASTIC gray shading effects I'm so envious about... (MAN, I wish I could do that!) :)

(and you call me a real artist... Heh)

Best,
Marcio

*Bwa-Hahaha!*

(*Cackles madly to himself, casting a powerful spell to rob you both of your assignments so they might fall to himself, so that his portfolio won't look like a paid advertisement for Dark Quest Games*)

(Not that I don't love working for DQG, mind you) :)

Okay yeah, that was about the size of it. ;P But, I did take a peek at the samples, and I'll agree with everyone that they do look like good stuff. :)

Definitely cool stuff there! I love the art for Librum Equitis. The artists did a fine job. Can't wait for it to come out this May! :p
