I wanted to let you guys know that we've posted the cover for Mercenaries: Born of Blood on our website. The art is by Kieran Yanner and depicts various mercenaries from fantasy.
Mercs offers you everything you need to know about running mercenaries, playing mercs, even setting up your own mercenary companies. Areas covered run the gamut from historical, to fantasy, modern day to sci-fi and there's information usuable in every d20 game out there.
Mercenaries: Born of Blood also offers:
- A complete history of mercenaries, from the Greek/Persian wars, to the modern day "security companies"
- 16 new prestige classes
- 2 new core classes (the Professional and Soldier-of-Fortune)
- New spells and magic items
- Rules for generating mercenary backgrounds, contracts, payments, and more.
- Plus rules for creating mercenaries of every race in the Monster Manual. (Plus a couple of new ones, like the gorkha, which, depending on your game, are either a new race or a variant of the halfling)
