I am proud to announce New Realms Publishing’s return to active duty with the Realms of Althoria product line. The Realms of Althoria product line presents a series of modular adventures, campaign supplements and sourcebooks that can be used independently, linked together, easily inserted into an existing campaign setting, and/or combined to create a new world of fantasy adventure. The product line is divided into the Portal to Adventure, Guide to Adventure, and Sourcebook categories. Portal to Adventure products are dungeon and wilderness adventures that can be used independently or in conjunction with a matching Guide to Adventure. Each Portal to Adventure product includes all necessary maps, background and encounter information, a Quick Start option to aid GM’s in getting the players into the adventure fast, additional source material and The OnGoing Campaign, which are a series of optional story lines that provide a means to link the product to other Portal to Adventure and Guide to Adventure products. Guide to Adventure products bring together community, wilderness and dungeon adventures into one package. Each Guide to Adventure presents a small outdoor area (a 10-mile hex or larger), and includes details on communities, wilderness areas, encounters, NPC’s, and one or more adventure sites. Guide to Adventure products can also serve as the setting for one or more Portal to Adventure products and the GM’s own adventures, making each Guide to Adventure highly reusable. In addition, each Guide to Adventure includes The OnGoing Campaign, which provides a means to link the product to other Portal to Adventure and Guide to Adventure products. Sourcebooks provide new rules, character classes, prestige classes, spells, magic, monsters, traps, treasure and so forth. Each sourcebook is laid out in a modular format, allowing any one chapter to be used independently from the rest. NRP also has a new website, which you'll find at www.althoria.com
