Paradigm Concepts Acquires Knight Rider 2000 License

DAVIE, FLORIDA - Paradigm Concepts announced today that they have reached an agreement for the production of the Knight Rider 2000 Roleplaying Game, Collectable Card Game and Family Board Game.

"Every since I was a teenager, Knight Rider has been one of my favorite shows," said Paradigm Concepts' President Henry Lopez, "I've always wanted a talking car."
"Woe dood, takling cars" gushed Pedro the Stat-Monkey, "These our even bitter than sharshian steel grateswords!"
"I have no idea how this can make any money, we may as well pile all of our cash up on the floor and set it on fire," bemoaned Eric Wiener, Paradigm Concepts' CFO.

David Hasselhoff was unavailable for comment, which is OK, because he wasn't in that crappy syndicated knock-off of the marginal original series.

Will this use the d20 modern rules and setting or the d20 70's rules and setting in an attempt to bring back the glory of the original?

I would say the d20 80's ruleset wuld be the most appropriate. Although the faux hair on the cover really gets to me. I mean the big hair bands were one thing, but I think they took it a little too far.

They never carried d20 80s around here (New Zealand), possibly to do with the biosecurity of our ports clamping down on unsanctioned hair imports. However, in the interests of public information: Is the hair suitable for Hasselhoff, or would one have to purchase styling shampoos and curlers to update one's rulebook?
