The folks at Kenzer were kind enough to send these 2 items to me as well as the Midnight's Terror Adventure (reviwed on this board elsewhere): D&D: In The Shadow of Dragons comic: I Love it! I picked up the first issue when it came out, but as I am on a very tight budget, I hadda cancel my subscription service (ComicsNow.com if you need a great service!) so I could afford 3e stuff :) If you like fantasy comics, give it a try. A all around well plotted and drawn comic. Hackmaster Hacklopedia of Beasts Vol IV: I don't play Hackmaster, but If I had the cash and a group of Nostalgic ganmers, I would snatch it up. As it is, I really have no use for Hackmaster. Regardless of this fact, I enjoyed reading thru this "Monter Manual" very much! I love three things about it: 1) The art is very reminiscent of of 1e and early 2e art, while being a step up from those eras of D&D. Wonderful! 2) The AKA line of the monsters... these are great! 3) The Yield section! OMG, this is the best! WoTC needs to add this to all of their monsters ;) All in all, I liked the Hacklopedia, and I may use some of the yields for my campaign, but, obviously, it is mainly only useful fro Hackmaster GM's.
