THE END-BOSTON MASSACRE GUIDEBOOK SHIPS! GEN CON A ROARING SUCCESS!

(Wauwatosa, WI, August 13, 2002)- The last Milwaukee Gen Con was a great sccess for Tyranny Games. The End product line was a big hit and Sack Armies had solid sales for the second year in a row. The End’s first Guidebook supplement, The Boston Massacre (by Derek Guder), which shipped to distributors last Thursday and sold through its allotment on Thursday (requiring us to get more from our stash). The Boston Massacre retails for $16.95 and will serve as a sourcebook for Boston and surrounding New England
providing numerous adventure hooks and d20 details on the central characters in the Boston Area. The central piece of the Guidebook takes the players through the heart of the Boston-D.C. conflict. The Boston Massacre also provides details on the new Founder Reborn Class, the servants of War, and
more. Can the players survive the raging war between Boston and the darkness in D.C.? Are the agents of Pestilence behind the plague that is creeping along the east coast? Can the New York refugees be saved?

As a Gen Con note, it was great to meet all the fans and fellow members of the industry. A special thanks to those who participated in the Rakow demo for The End. Beware Auntie!

i want to know what happened in DC! Forget the crunchy bith JTyrrany, just write a novel on all the tales, i would pay 19.95 to have a full length story just from the tales from the books.

to me the d20 stuff is a bonus to the story that is richly woven throughout the book...ever consider writing a novella for this setting? I surely would buy it!

So I had tons of time in airports, etc to read some of the awesome stuff I brought back from Gen Con. One of the highlights for me was The End, d20 edition.

I had planned to just glance through it during the first of my two flights, after all, I had the new LOTR RPG, The fantastic Oathbound, and the Everquest RPG in my carry on bag just asking to be read. The problem was, as soon as I started reading the diary entries in the opening of The End I could not stop reading it. The Concept is great. The way religion was handled was great. The thought of how a campaign of this game would flow rolled along in my head as I was completely absorbed in the book.

This is not a review so I will just say that you guys put together a very cool and very different game. I suggest, even if folks don't intend to run a game such as this to pick it up just for the reading pleasure. It made my trip go by much faster. Now on to all the other books I picked up from Gen Con.

Thanks Guys! One of our strong selling points is the excellent story behind the setting.

A lot of people cannot wait for DC...

Look for our free webadventure "Good Intentions" Soon.
