I haven't seen the first one in a long time, I should rectify that. It looks good and the teaser doesn't give much of anything away

I rewatched the original and it's still charming as ever. It's funny to think back on how killing a murderous abusive boyfriend in the original made the usual suspects clutch their pearls at the time.

I believe there's a whole short series of novels that these movies are based on. Probably worth checking out one of these days.

I do not have strong opinions or memories of the first film but I do have a strong memory of messing around with a frying pan in the kitchen some years ago (between 8 and 10 I think) and just extremely spontaneously exclaiming to myself, "It's practical magic!" and then the very next day I surfing channels and this movie was on (so of course I watched it). The timing was extraordinary.
