[QUOTE="evandariel, post: 3018852, member: 15716"] Doomsayer The roar of battle, the screams of the dying, the howl of the warrior's cry... these are all notes in the music composed by the doomsayer. His music is like a raging torrent across the battlefield, dedicated to Kirok. Bards of particularly militant mindsets or Fighters and barbarians sometimes pursue this path. NPC doomsayers are usually leaders of small warbands. They function best when surrounded by lesser allies, although are thoroughly able to use their praise to Kirok to handle themselves alone. Hit Die: d8 The Doomsayer Level BAB Fort Ref Will Special 1st +1 +2 +0 +0 Inspire toughness, Doom chanter music 2nd +2 +3 +0 +0 - 3rd +3 +3 +1 +1 Inspire recklessness 4th +4 +4 +1 +1 - 5th +5 +4 +1 +1 Combine songs 6th +6 +5 +2 +2 - 7th +7 +5 +2 +2 Inspire awe 8th +8 +6 +2 +2 Singing shout 9th +9 +6 +3 +3 - 10th +10 +7 +3 +3 Inspire legion Requirements: Alignment: Any nonlawful. Skill Points at Each Level: 4 + Int modifier. Class Features: Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Doomsayers gain no proficiencies. Inspire Toughness (su): a doomsayer with 9 or more ranks in perform(sing/oratory) can use her song to impart a kind of berserk resiliency on her allies (including self). To be affected, an ally must be able to hear the doomsayer sing. It lasts as long as sung + 5 rounds. An affected ally receives +2 temporary hit points for every class level of the doomsayer. At 6th level and higher, a doomsayer also grants affected allies the benefit of the Diehard feat when using this ability. Doom Chant Music: doomsayers follow the same rules as bardic music. Levels stack for purposes of determining how often a character can use music, but not for which songs a bard has access to. Inspire Recklessness (su): At 3rd level a doomsayer with 12 or more ranks in any perform skill can use her song to inspire an often dangerous but very effective ferocity in one of her allies within 60ft (including self). The effect lasts for as long as the ally hears the doomsayer +5 rounds. An affected ally (or self) is inspired to recklessness, gaining the ability to decrease her Armor Class by a number less than or equal to her BAB and add the same number to her melee attack rolls as a morale bonus. On her action, before making any attack rolls in a round, the affected character must choose to subtract a number from her AC and add the same number to all melee attack rolls (this number may be 0). This bonus/penalty applies until the character's next action. Combine Songs(su): a doomsayer of 5th level or higher with 12 or more ranks in perform can combine two types of bardic or doom chant music to provide the benefits of both (normal stacking rules apply). as per the war chanter class in the Complete Warrior.
