Message: <blockquote data-quote="Velenne" data-source="post: 1556206" data-attributes="member: 1856">I'm fairly well versed in the myriad books available out there but, in this instance I'm at a loss.  My cleric of Helm has just attained 8th level and his actions thus far certainly warrant a certain measure of, shall we say, prestige.  Yet there seems to be little out there in the way of this for believers of the Vigilant One.   Currently he is the Prelate of a large swath of land in Chult, but this is being run by his confidant (see: cohort) in his absense in service to the Duke of Shanatar, Tethyr.  Like most priests of his order, he is fair and just, yet extremely rigid and disciplined.  In combat, he tends to buff himself while his allies take the initial brunt of attacks, then wade in and level a swath.  I had in mind something to augment his vigilance, something war oriented (thank you Maztican trilogy for expanding my knowledge of Helm), and something related to guardianship.  Should I stick with straight cleric?  Am I overlooking something?</blockquote>
