Lum of Deeplake Dwarf favored soul of Dumathoin, Keeper of secrets under the mountain (or desert in this case :) Lum is born in Deeplake clan deep under the desert. It's location is secret as there are many surface dwellers that would like to know about essentialy endless water supply in the middle of the desert. Everyone know there are dwarves under the desert, their wares readily found with merchants ready to venture into desert. Lum is born to blacksmith family and was supposed to apprentice to his father. As he grew up several features marked him appart from the rest of his family. Priests soon recognized his nature. Lum is skilled craftsman and he traveled to surface world where he could make a living (or so he believed) without shadow of his father - it would also give dwarves of the desert more contacts and their blacksmith above was getting old and wanting to retire. Small dwarven community in Majoor always took pains to be as independant from the rest as possible and they had most of craftsmen within their ranks along with warriors, priests and occasional rune smith. Before coming up to surface, Lum was shortly (for dwarves)apprenticed to a rune smith priest (for several years). Finding way through the desert is never easy or without danger and Lum travelled with several others and with a guide, a half-orc no less. Yet, in the desert everyone will become equaly bleached skeleton if not working together. Safely in Majoor, Lum is helping old blacksmith in his last years before he retires. But he is no longer satisfied with simple life of blacksmith after he saw wider world above. As of yet he didn't try anything but waits for an opportunity ... Contrary to most dwarves, Dwarves of deeplake clan are NOT afraid of water as they grew up on the lake shore... OOC: I'd start with level or three of cleric as favored soul was recognized among the dwarves and taught tenets of Dumathoin, runes of power and teaching of dwarven clans, only later taking favored soul as multiclass if that is allowed. That would be primary class, except possibly if there is need, I'd take Warpriest PrC...
